Togetherness

What do we gain?

When we shout and scream.

And we say things to each other,

 Which we do not mean

When hurtful things are often said,

Mindless words which harm

Isn’t it better to discuss what’s wrong

With dignity and calm

Don’t walk away when things go wrong

Stay and make things right

For things just don’t get better when

Your simply out of sight

What’s the point in being down

Going to work wearing a frown

Stop your yelling, and think a while

Isn’t it better to wear a smile

For the meaning of togetherness

Is being as a pair

Having mutual respect for each other

Showing that you care

It’s being thoughtful of each other’s needs

We are no longer ‘one’

It’s the little things that mean so much

Which lead us to the sun
